Associate Project Engineer

**_Essential Duties and Responsibilities_**
1. Work closely with technical lead and/or manager to manage all aspects of project including schedule, budget, documentation, contracts, and account receivables.
2. Manage activities on multiple projects, with project team, customers and subcontractors, working to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
3. Assist in the development and negotiation of proposals and project cost estimates.
4. Assist in ensuring project procedure compliance and document control

7. Other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
Related bachelor’s degree
3+ years of project support experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Project
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test results(s)
**Preferred Qualifications**
Related master’s degree
Utility, commercial, or industrial contracts experience
Knowledge of accounting principles
Experience with project management software

Focus Area = Project Management_**
Project Manager = Full life-cycle project management of multiple large multi-discipline projects from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out. Effectively track and stabilize projects, implement solutions for obstacles and anticipate customer needs.
