As a Financial Statements Ford Champ, you will play a crucial role within the Product Development (PD) Finance team, contributing directly to the accuracy and integrity of Ford's financial reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in core accounting and finance functions, supporting critical monthly closing activities, preparing essential financial statement footnotes, and ensuring the timely delivery of daily financial reports. You will play a key role in maintaining financial control and contributing to process optimization through innovative solutions.

**What you´ll need**:

- Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong command of Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP). Knowledge of macros is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Alteryx is a significant plus.

**What you´ll do**:
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, your responsibilities will include:

- **Monthly Close & Reporting Support**:

- Assisting in the recording and posting of journal entries for month-end close, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications.
- Developing and preparing sub-ledgers for the account reconciliation team, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinating and organizing supporting documentation for various journal entries during the closing process.
- Monitoring and contributing to the reconciliation of monthly fixed asset additions.
- Supporting annual fixed asset activities and reporting.
- **Data Management & Analysis**:

- Facilitating the request, collection, and integration of monthly headcount and Product Development (PD)-related overtime information.
- Analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- **Process Optimization & Innovation**:

- Identifying, designing, and actively implementing innovative solutions for process optimization and automation within financial operations.
- **Ad-Hoc Support**:

- Undertaking other finance-related activities and special projects as needed, providing diverse exposure to financial operations.
