Job Description Summary: What do you need to know about the role We are looking for a passionate and highly talented Android engineer to join our team to deliver high quality, secure products to millions of users. Meet our team PayPal’s Consumer Credit team is responsible for Global Pay Later and Revolving Credit products that play a vital role in fulfilling PayPal’s mission to democratize financial services. We are striving to re-imagine our credit products to provide fair, fast and flexible products that responsibly enable our customers to meet their financial goals. **Job Description**:
**Your day to day**
- As an engineer on Consumer Credit Mobile team, you will be primarily responsible for feature development on one of the Credit modules as part of PayPal Consumer app.
- You should be comfortable with developing and testing your code as well as supporting the team with code reviews and debugging.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and experimentation are a given.

**What We’re Looking For**
- 3+ years experience in Android Development
- Understanding of Android system APIs and Android App lifecycle
- Develop unit test cases and participate in code reviews
- Familiarity with REST or GraphQL based services
- Intimate knowledge of common design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Highly collaborative, a fast learner and willing to work wherever you’re needed on the team
- Ability and desire to do great software engineering: You are doing it now, and your background shows you will pick up quickly what you have not already learned
