**Position Overview**:
**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of experience on Cognos Tools namely Cognos 10.2, Cognos 8.4 Suite (Framework Manager, Cognos Connection, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Transformer, Powerplay)
- Experience with development of metadata modeling using Cognos Framework Manager
- Power BI development experience
- Expertise with Cognos Administration and security
- Experience in designing and developing Business Insight Dashboards
- Expert proficiency with Workspace, Framework Manager, Transformer, Business Intelligence, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Query Studio
- Expertise with data modelling required - relational and multi-dimensional
- Proficient with SQL, PL/SQL **Strong understanding of Oracle hardware architectures**:

- Experience with Linux or UNIX **Advanced proficiency with MS Excel**:

- Strong analytical and statistical skills

- Ability to work well both independently and in diverse teams
- Minimum education requirement is 4 year college degree Responsibilities
- Design and develop Training data metadata models catalogs, transformer model and packages using transformer and Framework Manager respectively
- Develop High Level Designs, Low-level Designs, Test Cases and finally the code for every module involved in a project
- Create new reports and enhance existing reports using Business Intelligence, Power Play, Analysis Studio and Report Studio
- Deploy Cognos content from Development environment to Production environment
- Responsible for run time performance and tuning of the queries
- Provide Tier 3 support for other report developers with less proficiency
- Responsible for understanding and addressing customer and user requirements, their strategies, and their goals.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per month
