Some jobs are just about doing the checks, but you know as Quality Inspector it s much more than that.
This one s about setting the standard, because you are an as quality inspector you expert in ensuring high quality standards within the fastener industry.
You ll be the go-to Quality Inspector, the person who signs off the parts before they head out the door, who takes pride in knowing things have been done properly, not just quickly.
And you ll do it in a brand-new, purpose-built facility, part of a business that s just made a huge investment and is moving into its next chapter.

I ve known the directors from day one I was there when they hired their first employee, together, we ve built something special.
We ve brought in brilliant people from the industry, and helped others develop who didn t even know what the product looked like when they started.
Fast forward four years and they re now in stunning new premises, I know every recruiter says it s exciting.but this one genuinely is, and I don t use that word lightly.
We re now looking for someone experienced in quality inspection to lead from the front and be part of the next stage in their journey.
You ll report into management and take full ownership of inspection, no one looking over your shoulder, they trust, support, and know that you have high standards.
They recently achieved the highest result possible during their API certification so quality here really does mean something.
If you re a Quality Inspector with experience in fasteners or machined components, or from an engineering/production background and hands-on with the measuring equipment, understand engineering drawings like the back of your hand, then you ll know what you re doing.
But just to give a flavour of what to expect as quality inspector.
- First-off, last-off inspection
- Working with thread gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Creating dimensional reports
- PMI and hardness testing
- Using a profile projector
- Reading drawings
- Liaising with customers and suppliers when needed
What kind of Quality inspector are you?
You re detail obsessed. Methodical. Not afraid to ask questions if something doesn t feel right, and you re probably ready to step up and take more responsibility there's two junior inspectors who need someone who's been there and done it. Someone who can lead from the front, develop others, and keep standards exactly where they should be.
Hours: 8:30am 5pm
Holidays: 30 days including bank holidays
We are looking to bolster the team here, so will pay above market rate to do so, looking at 30-32k as a starting salary
