Test Automation Lead

**Role Summary** Key Responsibilities Test Automation Strategy & Framework - Define and implement automation strategy for core banking projects (Signature Next, Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, etc.). - Design scalable, maintainable automation frameworks using Java with Selenium or Playwright. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).Automation Development - Build and maintain reusable test scripts for regression, functional, API, and integration testing. - Ensure automation coverage across web, API, and batch processes. - Develop utilities for data setup, validation, and results comparison (includingDB validation with SQL). Test Management - Work with Business Analysts and Test Managers to define test strategy, test scenarios, and automation scope. - Prioritize test cases for automation and ensure maximum ROI from automated testing. - Ensure requirements traceability (RTM) and integrate automation results with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, qTest, Zephyr).Team Leadership - Lead a team of automation engineers (onsite/offshore). - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide mentorship. - Drive best practices for automation, version control (Git), and defectmanagement. Integration with Core Banking - Automate E2E scenarios across core banking modules (CIF, Deposits, Lending, Payments, Teller, GL, EOD/BOD). - Automate APIs, web UIs, and integration points with digital channels, CRM, AML, payments, and reporting. - Automate regression packs for data migration validation (source vs. target).
