**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.- Experience in global category/commodity management.**Preferred qualifications**:

- MBA or Master's degree in a Technical or Engineering field.
- Knowledge of international requirements, currency, tax, codes, and logistics issues.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, translating to relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.**About the job**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute commodity strategies through close collaboration with Google engineering and commodity teams.
- Conduct detailed agreement discussions, including comprehensive contractual agreements, and ensure capacity planning and supply-chain strategies are implemented to meet On Time Delivery.
- Drive RFP/RFI/RFQs and lead cross-functional teams with supplier selection process, define cost drivers, develop cost models, and establish should cost analysis.
- Serve as internal point of contact for all ongoing remediation and quality improvement programs, define multi-year R&D efforts, and implement supply chain and supply base improvements.
- Implement supply chain improvements - driving supply base improvement with supplier metrics and regular business reviews.
