Environmental Engineer

**Environmental Engineer**:
This role ensures environmental legal compliance and continuous improvement with environmental targets and performance in the site(s) and coordinate with the delivery of the overall Environmental Strategy including RESH Framework processes related to environment.
**What You Will Do**:
- Is a Role Model for RESH and I CARE initiative
- Leader of site’s Environmental Management System including writing, communicating and implementation of the site’s environmental policies
- Ensures adherence to environmental laws and regulations at the site including monitoring and reporting
- Ensures implementation and completion of environmental related company requirements
- Coordination of the RESH Environmental strategy and RESH OGSM for areas of environment as appliable at site level
- Identifies important, emerging environmental trends and ensures that the site is equipped to continually improve
- Executes environmental awareness programs across the site in alignment with company strategy
- Trains the Site Organization and supports transfer of skills related to environment
- Coordinates investigations and actions required through closure for Environmental incidents, noncompliances, and nonconformities
- Participates in internal and external environmental audits received and coordination of site lead internal environmental audits
- Point of contact for local environmental regulatory and affected certification agencies
- Participant with local trade associations regarding environmental topics
