**Sourcing - Buyer**

**Mandatory: Experience Researching, selecting and purchasing quality components and material**

Manufacturing Company located in Ciudad Juarez is searching for a Sourcing Buyer - Raw Material - MRO. The incumbent is responsible for **Researching, selecting and purchasing quality components and materials**, Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales. Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders. Updating inventory and managing stock levels. analyzing MRP to ensure suppliers meets MRP “planned order” requirements to support internal manufacturing, and secure on-time delivery. Responsible for all aspects of order placement and vendor management of production schedules. Ensures materials are maintained within appropriate levels in the Raw Materials Warehouse. Develop partnership arrangements with suppliers to develop vendor consigned inventories to reduce inventory ownership and lead times. Outline Agreements, consumption reporting, inventory reporting, forecasted use, Track, and show continuous improvement in Vendor Performance tracking measures.

**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. MBA or Supply Chain Certification a plus
- Bilingual: English - Spanish
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement areas.
- Proven experience in purchasing - sourcing General commodities suppliers.
- Strong Negotiation skills, comprehension of contracts, judgment and decision making.
- Proficient Working knowledge of MRP -JD Edwards and Microsoft Office Products
- Basic experience of ISO 9001 and IATF, ISO 14001.
- Management high volume and highly engineered processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent planning, organizational and teamwork skills.
