- Pay Grade/Pay Rate: Pay is commensurate with performance and experience, ROA Bonus Eligible

? Responsible for performance of Design team
- ? Responsible for ensuring Designers receive appropriate training and performance feedback.
- ? Maintain, develop, and communicate design standards and practices where necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- ? Communicate regularly with Engineering Manager and other groups and personnel to ensure processes and workflow are aligned.
- ? Be familiar with internal joist/deck design program to facilitate training, troubleshoot problems, and design projects when necessary.
- ? Familiarity with Steel Joist Institute and related OSHA requirements to ensure adequate designs are provided by Design team.**Required**
? Must be willing and able to conduct regular performance reviews for Designers, discussing both positive feedback and opportunities for improvement.
- ? Must be very organized and able to manage time effectively.
- ? Fluent with MS Excel to assist with reporting, scheduling, and analyzing group performance and other metrics.
- ? Must be willing and able to effectively schedule work for the Designers to meet Customer needs and project schedules.
- ? Proficient in English**Preferred**

? Familiarity with internal joist/deck design program
- ? Experience in the steel joist industry
