**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**

  • Customs manager plans and coordinates the international shipment of goods. During the course of the day, he/she will negotiate with a variety of people, such as shippers, agents and vendors, andis expected to have excellent customer service skills in dealing with customers. Will also be responsible for personnel management, which includes the hiring, training, supervision, coaching and development of staff. In their accounting function, Customs Manager will be required to keep track of invoices and prepare reports to expedite the billing process. He/She will also have to ensure that shipments are in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the maquiladora industry (Anexo 24, Anexo 31, C-TPAT, NEEC, OEA, Immex, Prosec, Regla 8va, Carta Porte, Custom forms 7501, 7512)

**Experiência y requisitos**

  • Five years of customs & compliance management experience. Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish (verbal, written). Bilingual English-Spanish. Customer oriented. Team building & collaboration driven. Leadership through coaching. Strategic agility.25% Travel (US Visa required. Sentri/ Global Entry would be a plus).
