- Continuous improvement engineer provides leadership and direction to drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles throughout all operations and processes and have successful implementation experience-Tools include Value Stream Management, 5S/6S, TPM, Standard Work, Set-up Reductions, Kanbans, etc. Would prefer an Engineering degree, or a +3-year Technical experience with much hands-on experience. Need individuals who have led CI/Lean Implementation initiatives in manufacturing with proven results.

- POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES o Investigate, experiment and implement processes to maximize productivityo Provide tactical coaching on Lean Methodology and Continuous Improvement Techniques (Six Sigma)o Provides manufacturing engineering support to implement new products and processes into production.o Create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement by actively managing projects to improve overall quality.o Continuously challenges the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in the CFT.o Implementation of technical, technological developments on the basis of proactive problem solvingo Train employees as requested by site leadership in Six Sigma tools and techniques including Design of Experiments, Control Charts, Histograms and Root Cause Analysis leading to White, Green and Black Belt certification.o Demonstrated experience in working with operations to enable cost savings and product quality improvement.QUALIFICATIONSo Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field preferredo 5+ years in experience in Continuous Improvemento 2+ years in experience in IE, ME, QE, Planning, Line Management or equivalent position.o Six Sigma Black Belt Certification through a recognized or accredited organization.o Experience with Minitab® or similar software requiredo Proficient in flow charts and process mapping.o Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for Six Sigma principles and toolso Experience in change management or project managemento Demonstrates leadership in lean behavior, culture, Principles and Philosophieso Strong background in statistics and analytical skills.
