**Job summary**:

- The planner, plans, organizes, and controls the flow of inventory from raw material to finished products. Reviewing production orders for shortages and monitoring the production times will be key to keeping the on time delivery on track.**What you’ll do**:

- Schedule production based on MPS
- Tracks WIP and update the planning module in SAP
- Daily check and track materials shortage status with buyers
- Ensures raw materials are received on time and notifies purchasing when expediting is required
- Participates in the inventory cycle counts, and inventory control
- Comply with Quality Management System's policies and objectives
- Other duties as related to purchasing may be deemed necessary

**What we’re looking for**:
**Technical skills**
- The Planner has a thorough knowledge of MRP Systems, knowledge in purchasing in an electronics manufacturing environment, and is familiar with safety stock requirements.
- Familiarity with SAP is an asset.

**Required aptitudes**
- An ability to balance priorities, ability to see the big picture and integrate information accordingly. Hands on approach, bias for action, maintains confidentiality, positive attitude, persistence and versatility.

**Pertinent experience**:
**2 years of production planning experience in an electronics manufacturing environment would be preferred**

**Language requirements**:
**Able to communicate in Spanish (read, write and speak), able to communicate in English (read, write and speak).**

**Education**:
**Degree in business or electronics**
