BU ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

**Responsibility 1 Functional-Validation Lab Tests**
- Activity 1.1 Verifies that the equipment chosen for testing has been calibrated or conducts a suitable verification procedure on the equipment according to department procedures prior to testing.
- Activity 1.2 Schedules tests and keeps test requestor and supervisor informed of progress in order to meet customer requested timing.
- Activity 1.3 Completes testing assignments in accordance with work request instructions under direct supervision by the Lab Supervisor.
- Activity 1.4 Collects and stores all data associated with a given test in accordance to departmental procedures.
- Activity 1.5 Must comply will all current 5S standards for maintaining clean work stations and an organized work environment.
- Activity 1.6 Complies with quality system procedures.
- Activity 1.7 Checks for reproducibility, accuracy, and precision of data by the ISO/IEC 17025.
- Activity 1.8 Reviews and understands requested work for content, quality and accuracy.
- Activity 1.9 Prepares clear written lab reports using appropriate photographs, charts, graphs and templates on a timely manner.
**Responsibility 2: Laboratory Warehouse**
- Activity 2.1 Must work with the Development Manager to maintain the inventory associated with a given job in accordance with departmental inventory procedures.
- Activity 2.2 SAP requisitions to keep consumables stock
- Activity 2.3 Chemicals handle and disposal with the right process in accordance with HSE rules.
**Responsibility 3: General Activities**
- Activity 3.1 Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Activity 3.2 Assists in the training of new employees.
- Activity 3.3 Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
- Activity 3.4 Must successfully complete all OPmobility required training.
- Activity 3.5 Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
- Activity 3.6 Provides support to other positions as needed.
- Activity 3.7 Co-responsible for HSE, CQA and IATF audits.
Activity 3.8 Other duties as assigned
