In the function of Transport Specialist he/she is responsible for coordination and safeguarding low cost, efficient, timely and legally-compliant transport handling, including collaboration with service provider and forwarder.
She/he has to provide regular reporting of compliance metrics.
Support Customer Service activities.
Logistics cost reduction.
Updated reports for material status and traffic related account receivables.
Successful and on time starting of logistics projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree/ technical degree or similar or qualification within area of production or SCM / Logistics.
- Typically 3 years of professional experience required
Preferably has led logistics cost reduction projects.
- Not requested but preferably has gained intercultural know-how in e.g. international project.
