Project Manager supporting Program Management team with aspects of the business including supporting procurement shortages, driving critical hardware production and deliveries, and providing clear production status and forecasts to management teams. Individual works closely with Program Management team members to support Programs procurement and production needs. Supporting responsibilities may also include; Responsibilities for tracking of performance, schedule and material for OEM programs/projects or subsystems of major programs/projects. Capable to supports all phases of programs/projects from inception / industrialization through completion. Collects and communicates status and/or forecast information from production facility to offsite Program Management teams including; scope, schedule, and material/labor forecasts to facilitate internal and external program execution. Support of production plans and ensuring product deliveries are made on-time and with the appropriate levels of quality. Engages operations, supply chain and quality teams to drive action plans as needed. Acts as supporting Program Manager for program activities, leading project and production review sessions with customers to discuss performance. Develops customer relationships and customer focused teams. Possess an appropriate level of technical knowledge to be able to ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and build mutual confidence with technical counterparts.
Experiência y requisitos
Education / Experience: - Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience - Ability to lead activities and developments. - Experience as a project management as either a Project/Program Manager or in a leading role as member of a project team. Experience working directly with customers is preferred. - Advance English Level - Experience with aircraft electromechanical systems, avionics, and/or, aircraft systems is preferred. - Operations experience to drive quality and on time delivery. - Possess leadership traits including the ability to lead cross-functional teams - Able to work autonomously without direct supervision
