Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to play a key role on the Digital and Emerging Market (DEP) Payment Finance team, primarily supporting Amazon's Mexico payment business including Co-branded Credit Card or Debit Card, Installments, Shop with Points, Instant Payments, Cash Payment Products, Cost of Payment, and other local payment products. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, developing and reporting on weekly/monthly financial and operational performance metrics, and providing analytical support for Senior Business Management.

Strong written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
An understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth.
Solid business judgment and controllership focus.
Strong PC modeling skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 8+ years of professional background

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 8+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CFA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
