**A Day in the Life**:Funciones principales
Preparación de superficies: Limpiar, lijar y aplicar imprimaciones en superficies como metal, Tablaroca y concreto.
Aplicación de pintura: Seleccionar y mezclar pinturas según especificaciones, y aplicarlas usando técnicas como brocha o rodillo principalmente.
Seguridad: Seguir estrictamente las normas de seguridad, usar equipo de protección personal y manejar productos químicos de manera segura. Delimitar las áreas de trabajo, poniendo la seguridad por encima de todo.
Mantenimiento: Mantener las herramientas, equipos y el área de trabajo limpios y en buenas condiciones.
Control de calidad: Inspeccionar los trabajos terminados para asegurar que cumplen con los estándares de calidad y especificaciones del proyecto.
Habilidades
Conocimiento de diferentes tipos de pinturas, tiempos de secado, uso de tape para proteger áreas de manchas.
Habilidad para usar herramientas manuales y automáticas

Habilidad para resanar, dar acabados a tabla roca, plafones y conocimientos básicos de fontanería

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

- Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical infrastructure in facilities.
- Installs, operates, monitors and maintains utilities, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) setup, maintenance and balancing, WFI (water for injection), purified water and process equipment.
- Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.
- Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
- Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.

**TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM**:Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

**Autonomy**:Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience in technical aspects of a job. Work is clearly defined, routine or follows standard procedures and is closely supervised. Performs basic tests and records data.
