Position: Data Scientist

Work Location: Remote

Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities to leverage enterprise data to drive business solutions.
- Extract and analyze data from enterprise databases to drive optimization and improved labor efficiency, process streamlining and revenue growth.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data collection techniques.
- Use predictive models to augment and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, advertising targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop the company's A/B testing framework and test model quality.
- Coordinate with the various functional teams to implement the models and track results.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

**Requirements**:

- Strong problem solving skills with emphasis on work efficiency and revenue growth.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and gain insights from large data sets is preferred.
- Experience in creating data architectures.
- Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their advantages/disadvantages in the real world.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team coordination.
- Eager to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Experience working in U.S. companies.
- Formal training/development in the US or UK.
- Advanced English

We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in:

- Manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
- Who has a degree or certification in a data science related field and is familiar with the following software/tools:

- Experience with spreadsheets and data analysis techniques.
- Experience in data visualization/presentation for stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing data from external vendors, such as various restaurant POS systems.
- Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages - Python, SQL, etc. (preferred)
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning and statistical algorithms: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks.
