**Company Overview**

At Naya Homes, we're building a vacation rental management and hospitality company that empowers homeowners to increase their financial returns while removing their operating burden. As we scale, we will be uniquely positioned to leverage our data to unlock a new asset class in Latam.

**Role overview**

As our General Manager for Puerto Vallarta and the broader Banderas Bay Area, you'll have a unique opportunity to grow a fantastic business, integrate acquisitions, shape the company, run your operations and hospitality teams, own a P&L and build the vacation rental management platform for the future. You will be responsible for owning and delivering a best in class homeowner and guest experience throughout the market while maintaining a thriving and efficient operation.

Ultimately, you will help create a new asset class in Latam by building a world-class international brand that provides best-in-market asset performance for our homeowners and amazing hospitality experiences for our guests.

Operations is the heart and soul of what we do providing a tech enabled yet human connection with our home owners and guests. Through Operations we will provide an incredible and transparent experience for homeowners, manage a distributed network of homes, power our operationally complex hospitality brand and provide guests with unique and magical experiences in all of our locations.

**Responsibilities will certainly evolve, but early work can look like**:

- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing daily business operations
- Creating and managing budgets
- Improving revenue
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
- Role reports directly to the COO & Co-founder of Naya Homes and will be working closely with all the executive leadership team

- We're small and we're building from the ground up, so if you like more established companies, it's not (yet) the right time. Here you'll help us define and build our company's culture and infrastructure
- Since we're an early stage startup, projects and priorities may shift and we will need to move fast
- Since you'll have a lot of responsibility and creativity over projects, they may not be defined perfectly initially. You'll be expected to bring your own experience and perspective to help us do the right things, and raise flags if you think we should do things differently.

**About you**
- 5+ years of experience working as a General Manager or similar role
- Deep knowledge of different business functions
- You are a proven business operator with a strong track record
- Strong leadership qualities
- Keen strategic thinking and planning
- Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
- Multitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Have worked and thrived in a fast-paced environment at an early stage company (Preferred not required)
- Deep customer focus and empathy
- Instinct on how to make tradeoffs between elegance and efficiency
- Excel at working cross-functionally and being a collaborative team player
- Excellent communicator
