Essential Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned. - Lead Quality activities, address complex technical issues, supervise members of the Quality Team and be the primary contact with key customers. - Lead and Work with Multidisciplinary teams to Correct Quality issues through the use of structured problem-solving techniques to determine root cause and effective, verifiable corrective actions (5Why, 8D and others) - Prevent Customer Quality issues through potential failure mode analysis, robust process controls and statistical analysis, ensuring continuously improving, capable and repeatable processes are developed (PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, GR&R, Capability Studies, etc.). - Ensure consistent use of the Quality Management System through the facility and coordinate improvements of the System through audits and analysis. - Help establish the Quality role as a vital function within the company, acting with integrity, transparency, positive attitude, leadership and discipline. Experiência y requisitos
Education/Certifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineer or a related Engineering discipline. Experience - Experience within a Quality Engineering role at a renowned international manufacturing organization. - Experience in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Medical, Electric, Electronics, Aerospace Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Disciplined and results-oriented work ethic - Familiar with statistical tools such as SPC, Cpk Studies, Gauge R&R, etc. - Previous experience developing, using and maintaining Control Plans, PFMEA’S, Standard Work Instructions. - Data-driven, objective and fact-based. - Must be able to work within accelerated product development schedules - Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment - Strong communication skills. - Fluent in English. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Availability for travel to multiple corporate sites and to visit customer and suppliers. - Use of necessary software tools for a Quality Engineering role: MS Office, Minitab 16, QMS systems, calibration and lab management software tools, Customer Portals.
