**Role description**:
Base22 is looking for an engineer with a passion for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence who wants to keep up with the fast-evolving capabilities and services that the area has to offer such as Machine Learning models and algorithms, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing (GPT-3 and other models).

**Your responsibilities (including but not limiting)**:

- Collaborate with other developers, staff, and leadership to research, design and implement solutions using AI and Machine Learning.
- Create proof of concepts and demos.
- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and testing of software and solutions.
- Build and maintain learning models and machine learning infrastructure.
- Run machine learning tests and experiments.
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
- Build a user interface to interact with machine learning models through simulations, visualize model metrics and collect domain expert feedback.
- Understand business objectives, analyze ML algorithms, and develop models that help to achieve them.
- Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them.
- Deploying models to production.
- Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with Javascript, Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and optimization.
- Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence and/or artificial neural networks.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider solution (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience working with Machine Learning APIs.
- Basic knowledge of version control software (Git).
- Passion for researching and developing solutions to complex problems.
- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong software engineering and development skills.
