**Job Summary**

Seeking a Front-End Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable design systems ensuring consistency and adherence to architectural standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging front-end technologies provide technical oversight and support development best practices. Communicate solutions and status updates effectively to stakeholders while troubleshooting complex issues and championing technical change initiatives.

**Responsibilities**

Creates and oversees the architectural design of design systems ensuring accessibility scalability and consistency across medium to large-sized projects with a focus on web components and atomic design systems.

Ensures the front-end architecture is communicated understood and adhered to by the design and development teams.

Works on multiple front-end projects managing time effectively while proactively assessing risk and dependencies specific to front-end technologies.

Partners with peer architects on large projects to provide ongoing front-end architecture oversight throughout the development lifecycle.

Evaluates and recommends emerging trends in front-end design and development strategies assessing their applicability in the design system environment.

Evaluates and makes recommendations for build versus buy decisions specifically for front-end libraries and tools.

Ensures consistency with front-end architectural standards for assigned projects.

Writes design specifications and other technical documentation focused on front-end components and design system usage.

Demonstrates design and technology approaches via front end prototypes to validate concepts and solutions.

Acts as an expert in front-end technology domains such as React Angular or Vue.js.

Troubleshoots and resolves complex front-end problems and technical issues taking a holistic and preventive perspective across systems and technologies.

Supports and champions front-end technical change initiatives ensuring alignment with design system goals.

Identifies technical risks in front end projects and supports mitigation efforts.

Communicates front end solutions and technical designs to business unit executives technology management peers and development staff.

Collaborates in setting front-end development guidelines and best practices for the design system.

Reviews front end technical designs to ensure compliance with standards and design system principles.
