**About the Role**:
We are looking for a Freelance YouTube Video Editor to own the editing of long-form educational and professional content for our **GBS Group YouTube** channel.

This role is primarily focused on YouTube, including video structure, pacing, retention optimization, and thumbnail consistency. As a plus, In addition to full-length edits, the editor may support content adaptations and repurpose content into short clips that are dynamic and tailored for social media formats like Reels, LinkedIn videos, and YouTube Shorts, etc.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit long-form YouTube videos (webinars, educational and business content).
- Structure videos to improve audience retention, watch time, and clarity.
- Add intros, outros, lower-thirds, captions, and on-screen graphics when needed.
- Ensure visual consistency between videos and thumbnails to strengthen channel identity.
- Analyze YouTube trends and best practices to optimize CTR and retention.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align content with brand voice and goals.
- Deliver content on time and implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
- Guarantee delivery of 1 YouTube video per week (approx. 4 per month).
- Videos may range between 8 to 20 minutes in duration.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience editing YouTube long-form content, educational or professional.
- Experience with content related to business, finance, taxes, investments, accounting, or professional services.
- Experience in entertainment, film, lifestyle, travel, gaming, humor, or unrelated niches will not be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects is a plus.
- Solid understanding of YouTube analytics, retention strategies, and CTR optimization.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, professional edits.
- Ability to meet deadlines, especially during high-demand periods.
- Advanced level of both Spanish and English is essential to ensure seamless editing across languages.

**Plus**:

- Ability to adapt YouTube content, repurposing long-form videos into shorter and engaging clips optimized for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube shorts.
- Experience designing YouTube thumbnails.
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO and content optimization.
