Your role at Clorox:
As a Senior Accountant within the Corporate Accounting Group supporting US activities, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional partners performing monthly and quarterly close responsibilities in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

In this role, you will:

- Provide oversight, coaching and supervision to 3 direct reports.
- Perform monthly and quarterly accounting close activities.
- Ensure a proper control documentation based on the Risk Controls Matrix applicable to the team.
- Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Support process improvement opportunities that improve the overall efficiency within your area.
- Support special project work as required.

What we look for:

- 4+ years of experience in an accounting and finance organization, mix of public accounting and private industry preferred.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
- Good verbal and written English skills.
- Attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate and thorough work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience managing people preferred.
- SAP, HFM and Blackline experience preferred.
