**A Day in the Life**:

- Technical degree in electronics, electromechanics, mechatronics or automation.
- Experience of 5 years in equipment maintenance technician.
- Basic English. - Experience in molding transfer (Desirable)
- Experience in hydraulic systems.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial machinery with PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics, mechanics, and electronic circuits.
- Experience in molding transfer machine repair. (Desirable)
- Customer Services
- Experience in Mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics to perform repairs and maintenance on different types of equipment.
- Skills to identify the root cause of problems in machinery and equipment.
- Skills to understand technical information and Interpretation of Diagrams to identify problems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to organize and plan maintenance activities.
- Ability to communication effective
- Ability for team work

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
- Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
- Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
- May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
- May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

**TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM**:Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

Runs minor projects, including performing tests, interpreting data, developing reports.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
