As an Accounting and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and performing internal audits within the various companies of Corporation EG, to analyze their financial statements and inform them of their financial situations. This will be a relevant input for the decision-making of the Finance leadership within the Company. One of the fundamental objectives of the position is to identify and address problematic situations related to the finances and internal processes of organizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Plan effective audit processes for all the companies within the Group around the world.
- Audit financial statements and evaluate accounts to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Inspect the internal systems and controls of all companies within the Group.
- Evaluate the established risk management tactics.
- Carry out audits of non-financial areas, such as IT.
- Report systematic errors or fraud indicators.
- Investigate specific issues or cases requested by the Finance Department, or the Board of Directors and/or Shareholders.
- Explain audit results, make recommendations, and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, public accounting, or similar.
- Desired Master's in Business
- 8+ years of experience in auditing, external preferred.
- Data analysis and finance reporting.
- Knowledge on auditing practices and regulations (ex., Sarbanes-Oxley Law)
- Knowledge of accounting norms such as GAAP, IFRS, etc.
- Previous exposure to ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Decision-making skills
- Focused on details and good organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
