**Job Objective**

To lead and optimize the functions of planning, purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, and materials logistics, ensuring the timely supply of raw materials and components to maintain production operations under quality, cost, and time standards.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure material availability at the lowest total cost.
- Oversee purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and inventory control departments.
- Coordinate with production and planning to ensure continuous material flow.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best commercial terms.
- Ensure compliance with import/export policies (IMMEX) and customs regulations.
- Ensure proper inventory management to avoid obsolescence and overstock.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to materials, customs, and inventories.
- Promote continuous improvement in logistics and supply processes.

Experiência y requisitos

**Job Requirements**

**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.

**Experience**:Minimum 3 years in a managerial position in materials, preferably in the maquiladora industry.

**Knowledge**:

- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- IMMEX program and foreign trade regulations
- Warehouse and logistics standards
- Demand planning (MRP/DRP)
- Negotiation techniques and supplier development
- Lean Manufacturing / Just in Time

**Languages**:Advanced English is required
