Senior Designer

Overview

Role

As a designer on the Sales Enablement team, you’ll work closely with internal team members (writers, designers, and UI/UX designers) and stakeholders across the company (marketing, product sales, thought leaders) to create a wide variety of sales enablement materials (sales presentations, market Intel reports, sales narratives etc.). This role will predominantly focus on the exciting world of data and insights.

You’re a skilled designer with an eye for simplicity. You understand branding and are comfortable working within global brand guidelines. Most importantly, you have a flair for distilling data into insights that tell a clear and compelling story to customers and prospects. You’re an expert using Microsoft Office PowerPoint to create visually stunning presentations and sales materials. You approach every project with the end-user and audience as your starting point.

You understand the ability of good design and visual language to deliver a clear message and emotion. You’re a strategic thinker who asks the right questions to uncover the underlying why. You’re always looking for ways to infuse a creative edge into everything you do.

All about you - necessary skills

Graphic design
- Skill and passion for creating highly visual PowerPoint presentations in Mastercard branded templates and using branded assets
- Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visuals, balancing creativity, design thinking and innovation
- Ensure materials have a clear messaging hierarchy to communicate critical messages and key selling propositions
- Display creative curiosity by seeking out new design techniques and maintaining cutting edge industry knowledge

Business skills
- Collaborate with and serve as a strategic partner to internal team and stakeholders across the company
- Understand the business goals and marketing strategies of our stakeholders
- Work effectively with others to identify challenges and opportunities and use creative and strategic thinking to generate solutions
- Manage creative requirements, expectations, and deadlines for all projects

Required experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline
- Experience working in a data-driven team or organization
- Experience as graphic designer and PowerPoint design specialist in a corporate or agency environment preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Bonus points for experience with Camtasia, Keynote, After Effects, Premiere, illustration, HTML/CSS, video editing, or motion graphics
- Experience with project management software
