**Join Our Team as a Full-Stack WordPress Developer at Equivity**

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable, and collaborative Full-Stack WordPress Developer to take ownership of our growing WordPress ecosystem. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple sites, work closely with cross-functional teams, and shape how we build and scale digital experiences.

This is a full-time position. Availability during US business hours is preferred.

**What You’ll Do**

**WordPress Development & Site Management**
- Lead the technical architecture and ongoing management of our WordPress environment
- Implement and maintain custom themes, child themes, and plugins using PHP, ACF, and CPTs
- Translate mockups into responsive front-end layouts using Divi or a similar builder
- Manage performance, security, and functionality of existing and future subdomains
- Regularly update and optimize WordPress core, plugins, and themes
- Troubleshoot site issues and identify opportunities for improvement

Infrastructure, Security & Optimization
- Oversee hosting environment configuration, DNS, SSL, and CDN setups, working closely with vendors or internal resources when needed
- Set up and manage CDN, caching, and static asset delivery (e.g., Cloudflare, Sucuri)
- Monitor and improve site speed, database performance, and uptime
- Implement automated backup strategies and maintain staging environments
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and malware protection
- Support compliance with privacy requirements, including cookie consent mechanisms

**Collaboration & Continuous Improvement**
- Coordinate with hosting providers and external vendors when needed
- Contribute to technical decisions, communicate clearly across teams, and actively share knowledge to support collaboration and skill-building.
- Research and recommend infrastructure improvements as our digital footprint grows

Document systems, workflows, configurations, and reasoning to promote transparency and enable knowledge-sharing

**What We’re Looking For**
- 1-3 years of professional full-stack WordPress development experience
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with Divi, Elementor, or other visual builders (Divi preferred)
- Hands-on experience with performance and debugging tools like WP Rocket, Query Monitor, or Cloudflare
- Comfort managing DNS, SSLs, CDNs and staging environments
- Solid understanding of WordPress security and optimization best practices
- Ability to manage hosting infrastructure and collaborate with support teams as needed
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while effectively engaging teammates of varied technical backgrounds.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience with multi-site or subdomain setups
- Familiarity with privacy compliance tools (e.g., cookie consent plugins)

**What We Offer**

✔ Salary: $20,000-$25,000 pesos per month (gross salary)
