About the Role

The HR Master Data Manager is responsible for the design and methodology needed to ensure quality and complete global HR data. This role has an end-to-end influence starting with the initiation of data quality methodology and ending with remediation actions. This involves creating and executing on the vision of an HR Data model. Building trust and integrity in HR people data. The role will also help guide and advise various HR and non-HR Stakeholders that leverage people data to meet business goals. The role will be responsible for the global management of HR data, whilst individual HR teams will remain responsible for master data locally. This role is largely about creating an HR data model, monitoring, and building campaigns to close gaps and achieve overall data quality and accuracy throughout the HR systems. Actively running programs and data accuracy campaigns with various stakeholders and HR Technology team to set and drive our data accuracy objectives.

What You Will Do
- You will use technology to identify and drive master data priorities and analysis. Working closely Global HR Analytics, Global HR Technology and Audit Teams to build robust technical solutions for optimizing master data quality.
- Design the global HR data model and methodology, providing expert advice and guidance to leadership to ensure best fit for business aims and internal culture.
- Working closely with audit you will ensure the approach for the management of master data meets all audit requirements and advise and guide on how to develop processes to further enhance audit controls.
- Manage the roll out of HR data model and methodology. This will include the standardization of master data definitions globally.
- Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps.
- Develop and lead programs, initiatives to improve data quality, governance, and metadata activities.
- Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met.
- Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
- Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
- Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues.
- Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources.
- Lead data quality campaigns and projects.
- Design training programs associated with data quality and standards to develop knowledge and capability throughout the business.
- Set up and manage regular communications to stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.

What You need
- A bachelor’s or Masters in a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in HR Data/systems or master data management (preferably in Workday).
- Exposure to Data Privacy and the impact on the collection, storage, and access to master data.
- Experience of HR Auditing, process controls and requirements.
- Show initiative, perseverance, openness to change, action focused and good self-management skills as you will be mainly working with remote teams.
