I think it’s worth finding someone with full stack abilities that has experience in both front and back end, specifically in AWS CDK and interacting with AWS services. I suppose in looking at things we’ll be building - implementation is going to be more back end; knowledge of AWS services, Lambda and API architecture.

I would like to see Typescript (Javascript) experience as it is more preferred for CDK, because there is far more documentation and knowledge base both internally and externally vs. Python CDK implementation. That said I did work with an internal team that were all python experts, and implemented Python CDK to house their resources.
