**The Role**

**Technical Underwriting**
- To assist the underwriter in the renewal process for policy/account renewals.
- Review and forward with Verita all new and renewal business submissions from brokers and ascertain that all required information is provided, in case of missing
- Assist the underwriter in pricing the risk, rating the policy premium and preparing the quote and binder.
- To review the policy for accuracy in comparison with the binder, send the reviewed policy to broker within the required time frame; Also coordinate with Veritas in case of query or rectification of policy.
- Assist WTW NA Centers National Accounting Center (NAC) on any questions or problems in connection with premium payment plans/installment plans.

**General/Product Support**
- To assist the Verita Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Legal in typing/proofing policy forms, endorsements and other documents.

**The Requirement**
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with commercial insurance or property and casualty insurance underwriting.
- Experience working Carriers, Insurers, Brokers, and Underwriters.
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Data interpretation
- Proficient in MS office
- Experience insurance broking a mustPreferred CISR, AICPCU or CII certified
