We have an incredible opportunity for a Manager, Clinical Risk Management within ICON Full-Service IOD Clinical Data Science. The Manager, Clinical Risk Management is a people-leader and will ensure department, program, and study level goals and objectives are consistently met to the highest standard of quality.

What you will be doing:

- Ensure clinical data risk management team deliverables consistently meet study timelines, quality standards and contractual requirements
- Implement effective tracking and reporting to monitor staff workload and optimize staff utilization
- Provide technical and managerial leadership, including mentorship and training of direct reports (selection and recruitment, onboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, project assignments, workload management, governance, succession planning)
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately with the target of continuously developing team capabilities
- Support and coach the Clinical Data Risk Analysts in their functional lead role
- Facilitate the adoption and understanding of clinical data risk management across project teams
- Lead/support working groups in initiatives for clinical data science or related process/system improvement
- In Account Head role, support clinical data risk management strategy and budgeting, support or attend bid defense meetings, support budget evaluation, revenue recognition process and financial objectives for the department
- Support the strategy set by Clinical Data Science Leadership including input into development planning for data platforms and other systems adoption and enhancements
- Maintains awareness of evolutions in technology, sponsor and competitor positions as well as regulations affecting Risk Based Quality Management and Clinical Data Risk Management.

Your profile:

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, clinical research, or a related discipline
- Prior line management experience or line management skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams in a collaborative environment
- 5+ years of experience in clinical data risk management, with a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Proficiency in clinical data risk management methodologies and tools, with a focus on data risk identification and mitigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and promote a culture of risk awareness
