The Sr. Manager, of Forecast position entails managing a team of employees to take preventative measures, and create estimations regarding the potential future of the company’s finances based on research and data findings.

General Responsibilities - Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position - Utilize historical data and work with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position - Evaluate business results and serve as a functional expert to the business client to provide strategic guidance and insights during the analysis process - Develops, updates, and manages financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicates changes, recommendations and issues to senior management as necessary - Ensures senior management and stakeholders are informed of actual and forecasted financial positions - Develops and maintains various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and ad hoc reports for management review and use, and assists with various reconciliations as needed - Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met Experience / Qualifications - A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. - Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members - Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands - Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation - Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results - Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
