Production Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
- Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
- Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.
- Managing the Production Line Team. Ensuring Safety standards and iniciatives are applied in the production area.
**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelors Degree - Industrial Engineer or Similar
- 2-3 yrs experience as Production Supervisor (Experience in Manufacturing per project desirable)
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Understanding of ERP (SAP Preferred)
- Mid - Advaced English
- Able to work/rotate 3 shifts monday - saturday
