Senior ETL Developer

Who We Are

The Role
We are seeking an experienced technologist to join our Global Database Operations team as a Senior ETL Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless data integration and quality across various platforms. You will work with large datasets and contribute to the improvement of our data processing workflows. A key responsibility will be to collaborate with data architects and analysts to create efficient data solutions that empower business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies
- Collaborate with data analysts and architects to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
- Optimize existing ETL workflows for performance and reliability, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Implement data validation and cleansing techniques to ensure high-quality datasets for analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, addressing issues and optimizing for resource management.
- Contribute to data modeling efforts, ensuring compatibility with ETL processes and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, configurations, and data mappings.
- Provide support for data governance initiatives and compliance with data management standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance data processing capabilities and contribute insights on emerging technologies.

What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
- Proven experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to keeping up with industry trends and technologies.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
