**G E N E R A L **D E S C R I P T I O N**

Industrial engineer to develop projects and activities to optimizing processes and operations in the toro company to increase productivity, boost efficiency, reduce production costs and improve product quality, while ensuring the standards of employee safety, environmental standards and government regulations are met. This initiative will support all sites of The Toro Company in Mexico and USA working closely with Global industrial engineering team in PUNE India.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- B.S in Industrial/Production engineering and 3 to 5 years of experience.

**SKILS & KNOWLEGE**
- USA Visa is a must.
- Fluent in English.
- 3 to 5 years of direct process development, line balancing, material flow design support of a manufacturing or assembly operations/body shop, weld shop or 1 to 3 years of experience supporting offshore manufacturing/Logistics process design/optimization.
- Should have good interpersonal skills & Project management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of time.
- Highly self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple objectives concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to analyze situations and accurately take effective actions
- Technical writing
- Ability to work effectively across levels from shop floor to director level.
- Willingness to adjust working hours as necessary to ensure effective support of international operations.
- Create and implement tools to audit efficiency and identify cost reduction
opportunities across the factory and the warehouse.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and bills of materia.

**SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS**:

- Conduct time study using MTM-UAS/MEK PMTS technique.
- Conduct VA/NVA analysis & Identify area of improvement.
- Create Line balancing scenarios to optimize resources.
- Define Unique processes in the logistics and quantification (Manpower and Material handling equipment estimation).
- Determines the most efficient online part submission to minimize non-value-adding operator activities and enables upstream processes such as kitting, optimized picking, filler material removal, and quality inspection.
- Identify and eliminate waste in entire value chain that includes material flow, material routings, storage space requirements, mobile equipment, layout development, containerization, storage areas, kitting, small lot strategy, sequence planning.
- Detailed Plan for every part (PFEP) document creation (Indispensable requirements).
