**The Position: Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst**

**SUMMARY**:
**Job Responsibilities Include**:

- Establish direct relationships with external clients and internal teams to support the company’s collection policies and procedures
- Research and respond to clients’ incoming requests/questions; provide information, explain and resolve discrepancies, and facilitate a resolution
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against collection policies. Document all information pertaining to collection efforts
- Maintain and report to management on aged accounts receivable and provide resolution for uncollectible accounts
- Send out monthly account statements to clients
- Open new client accounts in Great Plains
- Analyzing and preparing customer invoices using Great Plains and in-house systems
- Follow up on outstanding amounts due, and research payment discrepancies
- Assist with new customers’ credit checks
- Assist with the audit process and prepare the supporting schedules
- Ad Hoc Reporting related to Sales and Accounts Receivable
- Propose and implement improvements in processes to increase the effectiveness of the unit
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or relevant field preferred
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong problem solving and planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Great Plains experience is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16,500.00 per month
