**Duties**:
The employee exercises responsibility for the day-to-day orderly operation and maintenance of post telecommunications, network and radio systems at USCG Matamoros and in the United States at USLC Brownsville. Employee conducts changes and maintenance of telephone system, computer and network systems operations, and the radio network. The employee is also responsible for conducting maintenance of emergency and evacuation network radios, base stations and repeaters. The employee prioritizes daily workflow to ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The position requires a high degree of technical ability and requires frequent tactful interpersonal contact throughout various organizational levels, as well as internal and external contacts.
**Qualifications and Evaluations**:
- Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three years of progressively responsible experience in computer operations, computer maintenance, programming, website development, systems analysis and systems support that demonstrates a broad understanding of Information Management Technology is required.
- Education Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or Engineering is required.
- Evaluations:

- English: good working knowledge, reading and writing is required.
- Spanish: fluent reading and writing is required.
