**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Compile and prepare external and internal financial data
- Review accounting issues and procedures and make recommendations regarding the implementation of accounting policies
- Participate in the identification and development of analytical tools and reports to meet the needs of management
- Work with internal auditors, insurance examiners, and external auditors to answer questions and provide backup. Support internal and external audit and regulatory requests and inquiries
- Maintain journals or subsidiary Ledgers
- Analyze and reconcile accountants; research cause of discrepancies and take action to ensure accounts are blanced
- Review, prepare and maintain accounting journal entries, including both recurring ad-hoc entries requiring some calculation data
- Assist with ad-hoc requests and recommended improvements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting
- Proficient English and Spanish
- 2 years of Accounting experience
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of related accounting Principles and transactions based on assigned responsibilities
- Effective Organization and time management skills

**Salary**: $35,000.00 - $39,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Accountant: 1 year (preferred)
