Aerodynamics Cfd Engineer

The CFD Aerodynamics engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Perform aero CFD activities in a fast pace for assigned programs.
- Work interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment, directly interfacing with cooling/thermal engineers, the design studio and other engineers.
- Establish CFD work plan for surface release including optimization and enablers for drag reduction.
- Maintain and build CFD models, ensure all variants are consistent and comparable.
- Initiate and coordinate CAD data downloads, CAD checks and mesh generation tasks.
- Communicate and resolve any roadblocks including CAD issues, boundary conditions, test data, etc.
- Ensure transparency in the results of the assigned program with the manager and CFD team.
- Create CFD reports with to be delivered to the Aero Performance team members and ensure results are consistent across multiple exterior releases.
- Reports created must contain technical flow analysis, clear conclusions along with recommendations.
- Maintain correlation between the assigned program and wind tunnel testing. Work closely with our agile team of Aerodynamic engineers, CFD engineers and Managers to trouble shoot correlation issues and bring them to closure.
