Developer, Managed Services - Digital

You will report to: Senior Solution Architect

Job's workplace type: Remote

Located in: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

Activities:

- This position is 70% focused on code development / modification and 30% on troubleshooting.
- Provide customer support, including troubleshooting, software upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop software extensions and integrations using specific APIs.
- Ensure quality of code by performing unit testing and code reviews.
- Perform intermediate system configuration and customization.
- Perform intermediate installations of tools to support development.
- Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance.
- Help with the data modeling and requirements definition mapping.
- Experience in providing maintenance and continuity to projects directly with the customer.
- Status reporting within DevOps tools.
- DevOps development.
- Work on different projects at the same time.
- Performs intermediate system administrative responsibilities.
- Perform Data Migration (Data Analysis, and Migration using an ETL process).
- Commit to meeting customer service metrics, Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
- Status reporting within the team and with the customers.
- Manage requirements from multiple customers simultaneously.
- Work with diverse and cross-cultural teams.
- Contribute to internal programs and tool building.
- Help develop technology demonstrations by the broader Rockwell Automation organization.

Requisitions:

- Degree in Computer Science, Digital Software Development, or related.
- Experience in troubleshooting.
- Experience with Relational and Non-Relational databases.
- Functional support and enablement for users.
- Experience using leading software development practices, technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans).
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with customers, peers, and managers.
- Experience with our requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions; attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience developing in any of the following Java, Python, JavaScript, C#,.NET, SQL languages, or related.
- Experience being a team lead of a technical team is a plus.
- Network management is a plus.
