**Job Summary**:
Effectively manage water-related activities within the plant and the maintenance personnel for a specific area, overseeing its development, business needs, and serving the operation as the primary client.

**Main Responsabilities**:
**Safety**:

- Monitor safety guidelines, identify risks, and conduct near miss assessments.
- Ensure that your equipment has the appropriate certifications before performing any work.
Authorize and validate work permits.
- Conduct Safe Behavior Walkthroughs and close out safety findings.

**Quality**:

- Coordinate and perform instrument maintenance and verification activities following good manufacturing practices and quality procedures.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Notify, report, and address any equipment anomalies detected.

**Productivity**:

- Ensure compliance with policies/procedures and activities related to productivity standards.
- Manage personnel, materials, and equipment to meet performance objectives.
- Tracks and analyzes equipment and product failures and defects due to equipment malfunctions.
- Implements new technology in operations.
- Controls maintenance spending in the assigned area. Leadership:
Listens to, develops, and fosters innovation, growth, and improvement within work teams.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements maintenance cost reduction programs.
- Makes recommendations regarding operating and capital budgets.
- Contributes to the development of plans, strategies, and contingency plans for any implementation.

**Required Skills**:

- Statistical process control.
- English proficiency.
- Mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene.
- Proficiency in Data Processing Systems, Applications, and Products.
- Maintenance management (Total Productive Maintenance). - Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electricity, and Mechanics.
- Project management.
- Knowledge of reengineering.
- Water Treatment experience
