**Position Summary**Evidence of performance in productivity, innovation, working capital and cycle-timeIdentify and put in place permanent and effective technical / system solutions to problemsWorking closely with the BPI Team to identify and implement short and long term cost reduction and improvement initiatives.Along with a strong technical background in engineeringStrong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.**General Functions/Responsibilities**

Accountable for the successful completion of assigned engineering tasks and preparation of engineering deliverablesMonitor/supervise the work of less experienced process engineers and assist with trainingInterface with other internal engineering disciplines (product, maintenance, NPI, Test, FA, etc) to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverablesFollow-up updates to all applicable processes in the plantSize and select equipment, materials, and process systemsAssist in the preparation of engineering project proposalsDrive and deploy ECN/ECO(Engineering change notification to Engineering change order) with ECN CoordinatorCheck vendor drawings to insure design accuracy and compliance with specifications.**Qualifications**

Bachelor degree in Engineering such as manufacturing, process, industrial or equivalent engineering discipline3 years minimum experiences in Process EngineeringStrong written and oral communications skills (bilingual English/Spanish)Ability to persuade peopleReverse Logistics experience (preferable)Good computer skills (MS-Office and MS-Project)Good team player (Ability to work independently and as a team player)High accountabilityFinancial basic knowledgeExperience working with warranty reduction and value improvement initiatives preferred.Strong analytical and experimental skillsKnowledge of continuous improvement tools; root cause analysis, 6 sigma, problem resolution teams are highly desired.Knowledge of reliability analysis desired
