**About the role**

We are seeking a results-driven **Sourcing Project Manager** to lead the execution of strategic procurement and productivity initiatives across our manufacturing footprint in Mexico and the United States. This newly created role will serve as a key liaison between corporate and plant operations, driving cost savings, supplier optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a **Sourcing Project Manager**, you’ll be responsible for:

- Leading multiple procurement and sourcing projects focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Implementing sourcing strategies to achieve price productivity targets across the Americas region.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (commodities, engineering, operations, finance, quality, and field teams) to ensure successful project execution.
- Supporting commodity teams in defining project charters, expected benefits, and resource requirements.
- Monitoring project progress, resolving roadblocks, and escalating issues as needed.
- Managing project documentation including schedules, business cases, and risk assessments.
- Delivering executive-level presentations for project approvals and monthly updates.
- Identifying performance gaps and supporting corrective actions to exceed targets.
- Contributing to the Annual Operating Plan for productivity initiatives.
- Leading supplier rationalization efforts in alignment with sourcing strategies.

As a minimum you must have:

- Bachelor's degree completed.
- 8 - 10 years of managerial experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- ** Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.**
- Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

- Experience with SAP.
- Familiarity with Power BI.
- PMO certification or experience.
- Experience working with U.S. and Mexico-based manufacturing plants.
- Availability to travel up to 10% (valid U.S. visa required).
