**Senior Accountant Job Description**

**Job Title**: Senior Accountant

**Location**: Merida or Chihuahua

**Job Type**: Full Time

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end closing procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
