**Job Summary**

The Supervisor - Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing and enforcing quality assurance standards throughout the production process of luggage and travel accessories. This role ensures that all products meet internal and external quality benchmarks, industry regulations, and customer expectations. The supervisor will lead a team of QA inspectors, collaborate with production and design teams, and drive continuous improvement in product quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily QA operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods for defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Lead root cause analyses for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, reports, inspection records, and compliance logs.
- Conduct audits of internal processes and external suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality management systems (QMS).
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and production departments to resolve quality-related concerns early in the development process.
- Train and mentor QA inspectors and production staff on quality standards, tools, and procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics such as defect rates, return rates, and customer complaints to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend improvements in production methods, materials, or equipment to enhance product quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the luggage, têxtile, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and statistical quality control tools.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software (e.g., SPC, ERP systems).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with materials commonly used in production (e.g., polycarbonate, aluminum, têxtiles, zippers).
- Familiarity with product testing standards for durability, impact resistance, and compliance.
- Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and departments.
