You own a piece of the action - make it count. **WE ARE LOOKING FOR** **Machine Learning Engineer / Gen AI Engineer** who will serve as our GenAI expert, so they should have hands-on experience in developing GenAI powered chatbots and good understanding of text processing techniques in machine learning (Natural language processing), and should closely follow all new development in GenAI field so they can provide valuable recommendations for how to implement them to drive business value. **ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES** The **Machine Learning Engineer / Gen AI Engineer** will be responsible for: - Write clean and efficient code. - Innate curiosity and be closely following all things happening in the GenAi world. This field is rapidly evolving, and the person should be interested in it to know about all the latest developments. - Experience in Natural Language Processing models (NLP) - Able to think from an "Effort vs Impact" perspective to ensure that work is adding business value. There are tools (for e.g. fine-tuning GenAI models) that require too much effort (both financial and manual) and lead to mínimal improvement - Able to guide Nestle in what is feasible via GenAI and what would not work. Be able to detect when someone, especially a vendor, is promising a solution that GenAI would not be able to accomplish or would not be well suited **EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND REQUIRED** - Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field. Master’s degree in a similar field is strongly preferred. - Fluent English conversation skills. - High initiative, self-starter, and able to work with limited supervision - Facilitation and presentation skills, organization and time management. - Querying genAi models via API - Experience in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) - Orchestrating agentic framework - LLM evaluation (using llm-as-a judge and other metrics like BLEU) - ** Nice to have**: - Experience in fine-tuning LLMs - Understanding when to use the right LLM (large or small) for a specific task - Use of MLFlow to capture LLM logs - Experience with vector databases **About the IT Hub** We are a team of IT professionals from many countries and diverse backgrounds, each with unique missions and challenges in the biggest health, nutrition and wellness company of the world.
