We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

**Wholesale Credit Policy Analyst**

**Role purpose**:
Wholesale Credit and Market Risk (WMR) department within HBUS measures and monitors global credit and market risks arising from lending and trading activities as well as providing credit approval for corporates and financial institution.

The Data Governance and Integrity team with in GRID - RAC in GSC supports data governance/integrity initiatives for HBUS. It monitors, identifies, measures and controls credit risk by participating in credit risk projects and initiatives.

**Main activities**:

- Monitor, report and follow up on any discrepancies or breaches as well as create and distribute monthly reporting for all credits shadowed, rather than managed within HBUS Loan Management Unit (LMU).
- Monthly monitoring of any new default and resolution related data which relates to key/critical data points utilized in model development deemed most critical by Wholesale Risk Analytics.
- Deliver a high quality output within SLAs
- Reach out and follow up with those responsible to correct or remediate any data inaccuracies, where necessary.
- Support the generation of MI and actions derived based on the review and monitoring results / outcome to improve data quality submissions.
- Provide support to AVP / Onshore Project Manager in the expansion & management of the centralized unit for HBUS.
- Participate in the CoE & local SD management activities.
- Monitoring of ongoing facility review requirements

Requirements

**Knowledge & Experience**

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce/ Finance/Economics/ Engineering or related field

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years of credit and risk management knowledge/experience in a financial services or consulting firm.
- Prior experience in data quality/ data governance

**Skills**:

- Relevant credit and risk management knowledge / experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Access as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
- Demonstrates courageous integrity and ability to challenge existing and new practices
- Task and goal orientated, commercially minded, customer and results focused
- Proven ability to work accurately/thoroughly within tight timescales and interact well within a team environment
- Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and who can influence and motivate people around them.
